2017 Magnus | $248
Variety: Red | Local Vineyard: Inwood Estates
The Magnus is produced with grapes that boast extraordinary phenolics (flavor components), intensity, and flavor density. These high marks derive from the optimized nutrition the “mother vine” is able to deliver to the berries as a direct result of Inwood’s discerning application of advanced vineyard techniques and strategic yield reductions. Magnus is their richest and most concentrated expression of Texas-grown Tempranillo blended with Cabernet in the classic Ribera style originating from northern Spain.
2021 Tempranillo-Cabernet | $102
Variety: Red | Local Vineyard: Inwood Estates
Texas is widely regarded as the preferred home for producing America’s finest versions of Spain’s famed Tempranillo wines. Inwood produces blended Tempranillo in the classic tradition of the northern Spanish river valleys, as well as the newer modern varietal Tempranillos. This full-bodied, inky wine follows the Spanish tradition of incorporating Cabernet – here, 60% Tempranillo and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon – using grapes grown exclusively in the Texas High Plains, just a few miles from the Texas-New Mexico border. Our Tempranillo-Cabernet exhibits sumptuous red fruit flavors of cherry, raspberry, and strawberry from the Tempranillo, juxtaposed with the darker Cabernet Sauvignon flavors of blackberry, black currant, and cassis.
2019 Petit Sirah | $64
Variety: Red | Local Vineyard: Inwood Estates
A thin-skinned hybrid originally from France, Petite Sirah thrives in warm, dry climates and has become a consistent performer for Inwood in their Gillespie County vineyard, where they farm it at 2 tons per acre.
Always one of their earliest varieties off the vine, this vintage exhibits the emblematic ripe berry flavors common to this varietal and soft, well-rounded tannins. Abundantly fruit forward, a hint of acidity adds brightness and complexity without overwhelming the soft mouthfeel of this highly palatable red.
2021 Steel Roussanne | $30
Variety: White | Local Vineyard: Slate Theory
This Bright Roussanne possesses aromas of honey, toasted almond, and vanilla. Peach pit, dried apricot, mandarin orange, lemon zest and warm honey are present on the palate. Medium plus acid up the sides of the tongue creates a smooth, mouthwatering effect.
2022 Riesling | $44
Variety: White | Local Vineyard: Slate Theory
Made from the fruit of the high plains, this Riesling emits bright, fresh citrus notes balanced out with a subtle minerality to flesh out the perfect summer wine!
2022 Nebbiolo Rose | $36
Variety: Rose | Local Vineyard: Slate Theory
Recently ranked the 11th best Rose in the world by Vinepair magazine! Characterized by signature notes of rose petals on the nose, followed by pleasant hints of wild strawberries and raspberries. On the palate, another world opens up with juicy watermelon, rose water, and a slight hint of candied cherries.
